I will definitely be continuing my pups care here.

Our dog is reactive and the staff who were there were very respectful of not only the dogs, but our boundaries. They did exactly as we asked and made it a super good experience. Our dog was calm the whole time, even laying down and wagging his tail at some points, signifying he was comfortable. We have never experienced a vet appointment go this well! I was very pleased with the service.

I can't thank them enough for their caring and effective help.

I'm so happy with the care and results from Iowa Veterinary Wellness Clinic! After just one acupuncture session, my cat, Apricot Jelly, showed some fantastic improvements, and they continue to improve as we continue his treatment. He had been dealing with some challenging symptoms from Feline Idiopathic Cystitis, even after surgery and despite continuous pain medication, like leaking urine, a sore tummy, and a weak urine stream. The leaking has completely stopped, he doesn't appear to be in as much pain, and he's become super social! He used to hide when people came over, but now he loves to cuddle with anyone who visits.

The staff has been so kind and patient. When Jelly didn't want to stay on the examination table, they all got down on the floor to make sure he felt comfortable during his physical and acupuncture treatment.

I can't thank them enough for their caring and effective help. The acupuncture really has changed Apricot Jelly's quality of life for the better. Huge thanks to everyone at Iowa Veterinary Wellness Clinic!

I have never been to a veterinary office like this!

The drs and staff are simply amazing. This was our first time visiting, and it was like we had been going for years. The Dr actually sat on the floor with McGee (our chow chow mix) the entire time we were there. She checked him from head to toe, and he let her do whatever she wanted. I was extremely impressed with both the Dr and tech that was in the room. This may seem trival, but this veterinary office doesn't look or smell like all others I have been to. I can't say enough good things about them! McGee never stressed and jumped right in the vets lap as soon as she sat on the floor, lol. Thank you all for such a great experience!

Thanks IVWC for caring for all my pets!!

From acupuncture to vaccines to wellness & even the heartbreaking ends -- the entire staff has been amazing, compassionate, & patient with all my family members with paws & a helicopter pet mom.

Within weeks he was back to running

This is my second pet to visit the Iowa Veterinary Wellness Center. My first, a Chihuahua, had severe back issues and a broken rib. I was referred to this clinic from my Vet, at the time, in Adel. I drove the 30 some miles to see this Vet. Dr. Wilke prescribed natural anti-inflammatories for her and started an electronic acupuncture regimen. Within 2 weeks, my sweet girl was living life to the full, once again. She lived for another 3 years to the age of nearly 14. My current fur love is my daughters dog (he says he belongs to me ha!) and was seeing another vet, also, when he had a knee/leg injury. I immediately took him to Dr. Wilke! He could barely use the leg before seeing this Doctor. Within weeks he was back to running Zoomies with a much less invasive treatment than was prescribed by his original vet. Our boy, now sees Dr. Wilke for all his veterinary needs! He’s had bad reactions to his yearly immunizations in the past so Dr. Wilke was proactive in avoiding this. We had his yearly physical last week and he did awesome with the immunization regimen! Fortunately this office is now close to where I live, but I would recommend driving the distance to come to this clinic!!!

My dog and I highly recommend their services!

Absolutely love this team of professionals! I have a German Shepherd and she literally starts whining with excitement three blocks out from their office everytime we visit. She loves their team and has been very well cared for, from check-in to check-out. Her breed prone to some issues and they’ve all been addressed in short order.

You can truly tell they care about the animals they treat

We have had such a wonderful experience with Iowa Veterinary Wellness Center. The entire staff is incredibly kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, and professional. You can truly tell they care about the animals they treat and take the time to listen, explain options, and make sure you feel comfortable with your pet’s care.

It’s so reassuring to have a veterinary team you can genuinely trust. We are extremely grateful for the excellent care and compassion they provide and would highly recommend Iowa Veterinary Wellness Center to anyone looking for exceptional veterinary care!
